PFLAG // Meetings

Meeting SpacePFLAG Nashville is excited to announce that we now have two monthly support meetings.  On the 2nd Tuesday of each month, our facilitator, Kawema, hosts an exciting new meeting for African American parents and loved ones of LGBTQ individuals called the Osani Circle.  Then on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, we host our traditional PFLAG Nashville monthly support meeting which is open to all.  For both meetings, we gather in an informal group. Sometimes we have speakers with question and answer sessions. At other times, we discuss topics of importance to our attendees. We stay informed about current happenings, but the main focus in our meetings is support. Our groups are varied; we have families and friends of people who are LGBTQ, but we also have people who identify themselves as LGBTQ.

People who join our meetings are free to share as much or as little as they like. Whatever feelings you’re having, you can be sure that someone at PFLAG has had those same feelings too. If you need to talk to someone after the meeting, we have a list of people who have offered to share their contact information.
