The Nashville chapter of Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians Gays (PFLAG), is pleased to announce they will be sending co-chairperson H.G. Stovall to the Mid-west/National Conference in Chicago, Illinois, November 3-5, 2006.
PFLAG Nashville is one of over 540 local chapters of the national organization founded in New York City in 1972. With the three goals of support, education, and advocacy the Nashville chapter was founded in the late eighties.
“Representing PFLAG Nashville at the Conference in Chicago is an exciting opportunity,” said PFLAG co-chairperson H.G. Stovall. “We benefited greatly from the local conference for Tennessee and Kentucky hosted here in April of 2005 and I look to bring fresh new ideas back to Middle Tennessee that will continue to lead PFLAG Nashville as we serve the families of as well as the GLBT community.
